What POKA Clip stores

POKA Clip saves the text, links, and images you choose to keep as clips, together with the time of each copy, the category it was sorted into, and the name of the device it came from. On the Mac it may also record which app was in front when a copy was observed. All of this stays in the app's own storage on your device.

What leaves your device

Nothing, unless you turn on iCloud Sync. With iCloud Sync on, your clips are stored in the private iCloud database that belongs to your Apple ID, encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest. The developer has no access to it. Turning iCloud Sync off stops further uploads.

What POKA Clip does not do

POKA Clip has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services. It does not collect, sell, or share any data. The keyboard extension reads only your saved clips and never records what you type. The Shortcuts action saves only what the shortcut hands to it.

Your control

Every clip can be moved to the Trash and deleted permanently from within the app. Deleting the app removes its local storage. Clips in iCloud can be removed by deleting them in the app while iCloud Sync is on, or from iCloud settings on your device.
